Today, we meet Maarten Demmink, better known by his artist name, Demiak. Sculptor, photographer and painter, Demiak finds inspiration in the world around him. Nature is the heart of his work: depicting crowds of people or deserted landscapes, as well as scenes in which Nature has been able to thrive in the absence of man, his aim is to make us think about the place we should (or shouldn’t) have in Nature. We speak about his work and his attachment to art, its power to inspire thought or action, as well as his opinion on our impact on the world.

Today, we meet the inspirational Dutch Beatrix Bos, 2017 World Solar Challenge winner and ‘Lead Your Future’ ambassador, an association encouraging young women to support one another professionally. We discussed the role of technology in responding to the big issues of our time, the challenges young people of her generation will have to face, as well as ecological and feminist issues, and her future projects.
